Our Talent Acquisition (TA) team, within Human Resources (HR), sources and recruits candidates to meet dynamic organizational talent demands and client needs.

As Sourcing Manager of our Global Talent Acquisition recruiting team, you will lead the sourcing and prospecting of talent pipeline across all countries and Talent Communities, to meet demand and find candidates for hard to fill roles. In partnership with Area TA needs, you’ll define strategy, review, select and maintain sourcing vendors and tools to keep ahead of impending needs. In addition, you’ll work closely with our offshore TA teams to ensure they have the knowledge and resources to best serve regional recruiting needs. In your role, you’ll stay abreast of hiring practice trends to ensure that we remain competitive in today’s talent acquisition landscape.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Manage recruitment sourcing operations and platforms in partnership with local and offshore recruiting teams globally

  • Oversee recruiting data integrity and tracking for countries, regions, areas and globally, including diversity recruiting guidelines and goals

  • Provide monthly and quarterly recruitment metrics and scorecards to regional, area and global leadership

  • Proactively create unique sourcing plans, by role, level and location to identify and source top talent through use of numerous channels

  • Identify creative and original sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates directly, as well as proactively acquiring new sourcing channels to increase the diversity of applicant pools

  • Participate in HR global and area-based leadership strategic initiatives

  • Global Travel as needed.


About you

You likely have at least eight years of increasingly diverse and complex Global Sourcing Operations.

You are an expert in both on shore and off shore Sourcing.

You have at least three years of experience leading people or projects.

A Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or psychology is ideal, and an advanced degree is a plus or equivalent experience.

Your passion is for talent; you enjoy learning about and implementing candidate sourcing strategies on a global basis.

You thrive in fast-paced, globally dispersed environments, and are comfortable forming relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside of Avanade.

Your other experience and skillset likely include:

  • Development and implementation of best in class sourcing principles, practices and end-to-end sourcing processes and programs

  • Ability to advise senior leadership on talent landscape and talent needs at a global, area and country basis

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools such as: LinkedIn Recruiter, Google boolean searches, Entelo, Piazza, social media, networking events, and other creative tools and platforms

  • Experience with compiling market and competitive intelligence to influence and impact strategic business decisions with regards to Talent

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with metrics, numbers, and trends

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and consultative skills, including negotiation and persuasion, with the ability to organize and convey complex information clearly and succinctly

  • Working in a matrixed, collaborative environment, particularly consulting
