About the role

Our business analysis teams analyze client needs and determine the Avanade solutions and consultants best suited to meet them. This involves working with clients to understand existing business processes and creating new processes and system designs.

As a Senior Consultant on this team, you will play an important role in building customer relationships and maintaining ongoing contact with key stakeholders. You will be part of requirements gathering, analysis and management; project and communications plan creation; and issue identification and resolution.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Work with customers to assess needs and manage customer relationships

  • Contribute to business case assessment, development and documentation

  • Develop project and communications plan

  • Participate in change control process and requirements management

  • Identify and head up resolution of risks and issues

  • Determine and gather solution performance metrics

  • Transfer functional requirements to development and test teams

  • Lead peer review sessions and guide colleagues through quality improvements and education.

About you

You are superb at seeing where a customer is and where he or she wants to go—and building a path between the two. You are a natural leader and have a demonstrated ability to navigate complex projects to successful completion.

You likely have at least four years of work experience, at least a year of which is in management. You likely have a Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or similar degree.

Qualifications

Years of Experience: 3-6 years business analysis experience in IT; 2+ years prior consulting experience (internal or external) preferred; Experience with various software development methodology preferred

Education: University degree required
