Avanade Inc. HR Talent Acquisition Specialist in Milan, Italy

The Talent Acquisition Specialist, is responsible for the implementation of Italy recruiting programs. This role provides key support to its leader in Talent Acquisition. As a consultant, this role provides guidance and interpretation to Avanade's regions and conducts research and analysis as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Hiring Manager to define general candidate requirements (prior experience, needed skills, education, compensation ranges, etc.)

  • Develops sourcing strategies and sources qualified candidates, leveraging multiple mediums (e.g., job postings, job fairs, etc.)

  • Helps ensures recruiting process, interviews, and documentation are in compliance with the corporate guidelines

  • Delivers appropriate communication / message to candidates and applicants when appropriate

  • Completed recruiting forms and candidate file

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition team, HR team, and external groups to facilitate efficient and effective recruiting process

  • Monitors performance and status metrics; communicates status and roadblocks up to recruiting leadership

  • Uses internal recruiting systems; track progress against plans and make adjustments as required

  • Supports recruiting leadership in various initiatives and special projects as needed (i.e., instruct interviewer training, employer branding events,)

Qualifications

Years of Experience:

2+ years of Information Technology recruiting-related experience required

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Other Skills/Knowledge:

Required Qualifications

  • Good presentation, communication, active listening and story-telling skills

  • Broad understanding of the hiring profiles

  • Familiarity and comfort with high tech and fast paced culture

  • Proficient with boolean search strategies

  • Can build and manage relationships with colleagues and customers

  • Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting applicants with tech skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and solutions

  • Developed skills in negotiation, persuasions research

  • Developed knowledge of the variety of recruiting channels
