About the role:

The Manager, Performance Management, provides direction, design, development and support for Avanade’s end-to-end performance management processes. The role manages one or more key work streams such as development of a performance management strategy, principles and solutions aligned with business requirements; development and maintenance of all process documentation and support materials; development, execution and support of training programs for stakeholders; and development and support of a comprehensive communications and change enablement plan. The Manager, Performance Management, collaborates closely with HR Technology on the implementation of tools, and with the HR community and business stakeholders on process impacts and implications.

Day-to-day, you will:

•Collaborate with other key members of the organization to design, provide guidance or direct various aspects of the Performance Management processes

•Establish cross functional relationships with key stakeholders across geographies to understand local needs for the implementation of programs and processes

•Maintain the set of principles that govern our performance management model

•Develop and support strategy to continuously improve the experience of all our stakeholders on performance management

•Develop and maintain detailed processes for all our stakeholders to perform effectively and collaboratively in all our performance management phases

•Direct the development and maintenance of templates, job aids and other resource materials that enable our stakeholders to executive their performance management functions

•Coordinate with HR Technology in the documentation and implementation of all the technology needs of performance management

•Coordinate and maintain all assessment frameworks (such as goals, feedback, etc) as they relate to performance management by working closely with appropriate stakeholders

•Develop, communicate and maintain our annual Performance Management calendar aligned to defined principles and processes

•Coordinate with our Communications and Change Enablement specialists in the design and execution of a communications and change enablement plan during regular performance management cycles

•Develop and execute a program management plan to support, together with the Sr. Director, Talent Management, the HR teams and other stakeholders as they perform and complete key activities related to performance management

•Develop and execute a training program to enable HR as they support the business in all performance management functions

•Coordinate with Leadership Development in the development and execution of training programs for career managers and employees

•Develop and execute a plan that enables our key stakeholders to utilize data outcomes from performance management for their operational and strategic decision-making

•Support and lead special projects as needed.

•Act as Performance Management SME for HR partners

Qualifications

Likely years’ experience

You have 5+ years of experience in human resources experience

At least 2+ in performance management/talent management

1 or more years experience managing preferred

Your skillset likely includes:

⦁ Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse "customer" base, including senior managers and leaders, HR, consultants, etc. This includes good listening skills and the ability to address conflicts productively.

⦁ Must be a proven communicator (written and presentation) with the ability to make the performance management function easy to understand, effectively executed and give the business and its people timely and accurate information.

⦁ Demonstrated effective presentation and facilitation skills.

⦁ Preference for someone with a deep business background in technology.

⦁ Strong, results-orientation and commitment to quality and performance.

⦁ Attention to detail and accuracy.

⦁ Ability to balance the need for global consistency with local customization, recognizing the value to each approach and finding common ground if there are differences.

Your education likely

Bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources or equivilant experience

PHR / SPHR or equivalent HR certification is preferred
