About the role
The Solution Development role focuses on designing, deploying, and testing client solutions across web services, applications and enterprise portals. This team is involved throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with technical leadership and functional teams to understand project requirements and manage client relationship, change requirements, and proposal development.
As a Solution Development Senior Analyst, you will define a project’s functional and technical design and lead the coding and testing efforts, ensuring that the Avanade deliverable meets client business requirements. You will contribute to and often be responsible for delivering all phases of the project – including plan, analyze, design, build, and test.
Day-to-day, you will:
Gather and define technical, operational, and user requirements
Help with conceptual architecture and technical solutions design
Implement client-approved solution
Participate in change implementation
Travel as needed.

Your technical skills likely include:
An ability to analyze, design, develop implement and maintain application code in a variety of contexts
Skill in developing client-based and/or web-based software solutions
Knowledgeable about application development, complex code development, application testing and component design
Your general business skills likely include:
Prior project and/or consulting work
An ability to interact with external stakeholders
Good communications and presentations skills
Solid written and spoken English skills.
You likely have around a year of relevant work experience and Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems or a related field.
